The Solmar Foundation Offers Teambuilding Activities
The Solmar Foundation, a nonprofit founded in honor of tourism pioneer Don Luis Bulnes of Solmar Hotels & Resorts, supports over 30 charitable organizations in Baja California Sur and offers an array of service-oriented experiences for groups seeking a social responsibility component to their adventure.
Among the dozens of ways groups can collaborate with the Solmar Foundation are direct assistance to disabled children through a program called "Celebration of Life", food drives, where participants are involved in the entire process, from bagging to delivery, community centers, facility maintenance, and more. The "Helping Hands" tour, a heart-warming excursion to four Solmar Foundation run facilities, is another way groups can be exposed to the organization's work and understand its values and achievements.
Group activities organized by the Solmar Foundation are free of charge. Administrative costs are paid by the developer, which allows for 100 percent of the donated funds and labor to go directly to those in need. Participants are encouraged to make small monetary contributions or donate gently used clothing.

The Buzz at Land's End
As the temperature heats up, Land's End is sizzling with activity! From celebrity visits and fashion spreads to partnering with one of the hottest athletic wear brands on the market, Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa has been the most popular kid on the block.
Fresh off the completion of its third and final phase, the property has already garnered international attention. With a visit from Instagram influencer and makeup guru, @Chrisspy, who spent her birthday lounging poolside and an eight-page spread in the June issue of Redbook magazine that dubbed the resort a "Gorgeous Getaway", Land's End is surely heating up.
In celebration of the property's brand new fitness center and the start of bikini season, the resort partnered with fitness brand, Carbon 38 on their "Start Your Summer" giveaway promotion which offered a lucky winner the chance to spend four days and three nights at the resort soaking up the sun and kick-starting their summer fitness routine.
Rancho San Lucas: From Dream to Reality
The anticipated debut of Solmar Group's first real estate venture, Rancho San Lucas is well underway. The roundabout entrance to the development is already flourishing with magnificent native flora, some dating back two centuries. On and off-site sales offices have also been established in true "Rancho" fashion, with the on-site sales office featuring stunning wood work on the pergola that complements the area's surrounding landscape. The site also debuted a new sign, which was first seen by none other than golf legend, Greg Norman.
Upon completion, Rancho San Lucas will feature the only true ocean-front home sites in the area, along with a Greg Norman-designed 18-hole golf course, tennis center, luxury resort, and Mexican Village. The first phase of the project is set to debut in late 2017 with a Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas resort, which will boast 600 luxury suites upon completion.

Spa Spotlight: Pre-Hispanic Bath Ritual
Playa Grande's Spa is a center of wellness and healing, providing guests with an all-encompassing spa experience which integrates the mind, body, and soul with satisfying and rejuvenating treatments. Solmar's spa collection strives to offer unique experiences that will cleanse the body and eliminate stress. With an on-site Temazcal (type of sweat lodge), the Playa Grande Spa treats guests to one of Latin America's most mythical and ancient healing techniques-a cultural and spiritual experience not to be missed.
The Temazcal experience usually lasts for approximately two hours, but for guests looking for a quicker fix, Playa Grande offers a 30-minute Pre-Hispanic Bath treatment ($104 USD), also inspired by ancient Mesoamerican indigenous cultures. The Pre-Hispanic Bath is a healing ritual, which uses natural ingredients and herbs freshly picked before the treatment that allow the body to relax and de-stress. This spiritual experience, lead by an in-house Shaman healer, encircles guests in purifying steam that regulates the body's natural flow of energy. The Shaman then leads guests down a path of total relaxation by cleansing them with the herbs and softly pouring water on their feet, arms, legs, back, and midsection. As they are cleansed, guests are invited to pay close attention to their breathing and the sound of their hearts.
The treatment is recommended for those with muscle pain, asthma and problems related to digestion and water retention.
