Traveling with friends is more fun, and that's true with furry friends too. It's easy to bring your pet to Mexico and have a great vacation in Cabo San Lucas at pet-friendly Hotel Quinta del Sol in downtown Cabo.
Bringing Your Pet to Mexico
If you're flying, be sure to check with your airline for their pet travel regulations. Mexico does not quarantine pets, but you do need some documentation to bring them across the border. You'll need proof your dog is vaccinated against rabies and distemper in the form of a veterinarian's certificate. Don't lose the certificate; you'll need it to bring your dog back home to the US.
Having Fun in Cabo
Hotel Quinta del Sol is a great place to stay with your pet in Cabo San Lucas. There's plenty of room in the suites for you and your pet to be comfortable. The suites have kitchenettes, but you don't have to eat in to dine with your dog; check out these dog-friendly restaurants in town. Take a walk around the marina together and then hang out with refreshments under the shade of an umbrella!
The beaches in Cabo allow dogs, so take a walk to nearby Medano Beach and enjoy playing in the surf. Just be aware of how the heat affects your dog and have plenty of water for them to drink. Or just enjoy hanging out together by the pool! As long as you're together, you're sure to have fun. Click here to book your stay!
