Amid the arduous times the world is currently experiencing and, while we’re happy to report that there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at any of the seven all-suite properties that encompass Solmar Hotels & Resorts, on March 21, 2020, state authorities confirmed the first positive case of COVID-19 in Los Cabos. After careful deliberation and keeping the safety and wellbeing of our guests and residents our number one priority, we have decided to temporarily close Solmar Resort, Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas Resort Golf & Spa and Grand Solmar The Residents at Rancho San Lucas, from March 23 through May 1, 2020 as a preventive measure.

We understand the growing concerns, and therefore want to reinforce that we have and will continue to implement the strictest protocols to prevent the spread of the virus including close communication with local health authorities and following their recommendations, enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols within our properties, presence of an on-site detection team and more.

For those who have existing reservations at any of these properties, our team will work with them to either relocate to one of our other hotels within the collection, reschedule or cancel their reservations. We remind guests that our extended cancellation policy provides the option to cancel a reservation up to 24 hours before the stay. For reservations made under the nonrefundable reservation policy, we are honoring deposits towards another date.
